We got a delivery in a large box the other day, so naturally we made it into a baby play house. Please don't look to closely at the shape of our house, I swear we had just picked up all of those toys!

Scar Face
Well I am just wondering if the ER has a punch card for frequent visitors. Yes we had another trip to the ER! On Thursday morning Sofia slipped and fell into our hope chest at the end of our bed. We took her to the ER where she got stitches on her lower lip:( Then on Saturday morning she woke up and her right eye lid was swollen! So that night we just got nervous and took her to yet another trip, this time to an over night care facility. They still are doing tests so we don't know what happened last night, but her swelling is down, and she is acting normal.
Here are a couple of pictures from the last couple of days.
Here is what Sofia looked like when we got back from the ER on Thursday morning
After her trip to the ER on Thursday morning we had play group at our house. I let her pick out what ever she wanted to eat, and wear. This is what she picked:
Nothing like cookies and a princess outfit to make you feel better.
Playing with her friend Katie
Then on Saturday to help take her mind off of her pain, being the terrible parents we are, we still took her to baby loves disco. It is a once a month thing that they do here. They open a bar in down town dc and have baby and adult beverages and snacks. It was fun but I think between all of us being tired and worn out from no sleep and stress we didn't enjoy it like we thought we would.
Sofia Saturday morning, looking like she just got into a bar fight
Sofia before we left for baby disco, Happy Valentine's Day.
So here is to hoping that she has minimal scaring and can stay out of the ER, or else we might have to look into a frequent visitor program!

One and a half!
Well she is officially one and a half, here are a couple of pictures of the special occasion.
She got a potty, however we aren't really doing much with it, but sitting on it:)
Princess Sofia ready for her party!
Trying out the new potty, while reading her Dora book about the potty.
Hail to the potty!
The half birthday cake. She actually tried some cake and liked it this time. Nothing like the first go around of cake, if you remember

Super Bowl
Babies and ear plugs
Yes these are all the things that we are into right now. I know it has been awhile since my last post (we had some camera issues, being that we didn't have one for awhile).
Sofia LOVES babies as you all know, and she was really curious about Karen my sister-in-law being pregnant over the holidays, so she is still pretending to "have a baby in her belly!"
Karen had her baby, a beautiful baby girl, Abigail on January 31st! We can't wait to meet her!
Sofia also really loves jewelry. She thinks that her earplugs that she has to wear in the bath tub since her ear surgery are earings. She she is constantly putting them in her ears and her babies ears.

Back Seat DJ
So Sofia has developed a real love of music. However she limits herself to just a couple of songs. For about two months now she has only wanted to listen to "Sherry," by Frankie Valli and the 4 seasons. All we hear from the back seat is, "More Cherry baby, more Cherry baby." We even affectionately named Bitty Baby, Sherry. Well now we have a new song as of this week, "Money, Money, Money," from the Momma Mia sound track. So now from the back seat I will hear, "more Money, more Money." This only becomes more hysterical because she only likes the chorus, so the whole time she is waiting for Meryl Streep to belt out, "money, money, money...." she is crying (and I mean literally crying) "more money momma, more money." I couldn't help but laugh today, and tell her, "Sofia sometimes mommy also cries and wants more money."
