Speaking of busy, here are a couple of fun things Sofia has been up to lately. She is now an official Daisy Girl Scout! She loves it!!!!!! She participated in the Christmas Parade with her troupe, they were little elves. She also had her official pinning ceremony. Here are some pictures from both.

My big girl
Well my blog has definitely taken a hit lately! I don't know if it is having a busy baby, a busy 5 year old, or a busy 2 year old, or a busy season! Life is just busy:)

I also took the kids on our annual trip to see Santa. It was super fun, except afterwards Sofia said, "I don't feel so good." I wondered why she was a little off that morning, I just thought it was the excitement. No she had a 101 fever!
Merry Christmas to everyone. Hopefully I will post more in the new year;)

HEY!
This video was taken a month and a half ago, but shocker I never got the chance to post it! Sullivan is a BIG talker!!!!! He yells, says "Hi," "Hey," and "Dad," Sofia swears he has said Sofia, but I have yet to hear it. Here is a video of him saying "Hey." He says it just like my dad:)

Leaving Little Brother out
So today while I was doing dishes my kids were playing happily in the next room, then it got quiet. So I did what every mother does, grabs my camera, and hide to video tape whatever they are up to. They were up to leaving little man out because he sadly can't follow them yet. Here is the video of the poor little man desperately trying to "catch," them, gain their attention, or just shout and run them into including him. The video is a little long, but if you hang in you can see them include him in the end, only to make him the bad guy (they are calling him Tybalt, from Gnomeo and Juliet). Awe, older sisters:)

Busy, busy, busy
Well it has finally happened a whole month went by and no post. That is what three kids will do to a blog:)
We have been busy, busy, busy!!!! I am currently writing this one handed and sleep deprived, I hope at least some of it will make sense;)
Sofia is doing school, ballet, now hip hop class, and will start Daisy girl scouts soon! I have officially become her taxi. She has also lost two teeth and is working on a third!
Emmy is going to mommy and me preschool, and attempted hip hop class with Sofia until a little boy touched her arm and now she hates it and refuses to go. She loves to stay at home and play with her Barbies and princesses. We have also started bible study, where she likes to go because she gets to make a craft. She is still doing gymboree and loving that.
Sullivan is growing. I finally had to take him out of the infant carrier because the plastic was starting to break and I was getting calluses. He is still not sleeping through the night, because he would rather nurse all night and play all day. He loves to eat solids, and "true solids" non of this baby food stuff:)
Chad and I are great, sleepy, but great. Life with three kids is very full, but also very fun.
There is the Smith family update, now for some photos and video:) Enjoy!

Sisters
I LOVE my girls, but they really love each other. Now don't get me wrong there is always a fight once a day over sharing princesses, or who gets to be the most beautiful something or other. But they sure do have a good time, and I love watching and hearing them play together!
They may love each other, but the other person they really love is Little Man. There is always room for him!

KINDERGARTEN!
I can not believe that Sofia started Kindergarten today! Wasn't it yesterday that Chad and I were speeding down Viers Mill Road at 90 miles an hour to bring this little girl into this world? She LOVED every minute, and was soooooooo incredibly excited about it all. She has several friends in her class, which I think will make the school year fun.
Next you know we will be driving her to college, and going to her wedding, and....tear, tear, sob, sob;)

The actual birthday
For Sofia's actual birthday we took her to the beach, had breakfast and then went to Sprinkles Cupcakes for her birthday cupcake. The beach was a blast, and breakfast was as always great. But the big deal was going to Sprinkles! Sofia has become OBSESSED with a show called Cupcake Wars. She thinks that Candace Nelson hung the moon! We have watched every episode 20 times and she can tell you every ingredient known to man. We play cupcake Wars, we talk about Cupcake Wars, I swear the girl eats, breathes, and lives baking! She wrote a letter to her beloved Candace Nelson and we went and had cupcakes in Newport. She loved it!
Her letter to Candace Nelson. She is sitting at the table judging Cupcake Wars.
Here she is in front of Sprinkles Bakery, she is slightly annoyed with me because she is DIEING to go in!
Here she is with her new friend Nicole. She loved her!

Sofia's 5!!!!! Can you believe it!?!?
We have been celebrating Sofia turning 5 for about a month now! We did so much, that I am just now downloading pictures of all of the fun, I will do a couple of posts, so you don't have to feel like you just read a novel about Sofia's birthday;)
For her birthday party we did a Tinkerbell theme. I went WAY over board as I always do and it was SUPER fun. We got wings, necklaces and tiara's for the girls. For the boys we got pirate hats, tattoos and patches. Emily did her own thing and was Alice for the birthday party...she is too funny! My parents came in for the big party too (thank heavens...could not have done this without them:)
We also played a game where the parents were thistles (you have to see the movie) and they chased the kids, and they froze, then the fairies or kids chased the thistles and froze them. It was really fun! We did this party at a park, and I will forever do a party at the park from now on! It was the easiest and most fun party we have had yet!
