At the car wash

Spring has finally arrived in Maryland, thank heavens! We have actually gotten a couple of weeks of nice weather. The first weekend it was nice we decided to clean the car. So did Ben and Amy next door. The girls decided to join in the fun, however they each helped the other one's daddy! Even Harper joined in the fun and washed Sofia's car for her:) Here is a hilarious video and some pics.

I'm a big girl now

Sofia has been doing many big girl things, which Chad and I are VERY excited about. She has been working on potty training, going to bed all by herself, and has many many big girl words and songs that she loves to share. For a big girl surprise Chad and I have been hunting for a play house for her. We finally found one that was perfect and a good deal off of Craig list. She loves it and calls it her outside diner (Ida Jane next door has an inside play diner). Every day she tells us to put shoes on we are going outside to play in the outside diner. So it has been a huge hit. I have included a picture of the outside diner. I have also included a picture that I swore I wouldn't post, but this one was too good to pass up. Every night she wants to get on the potty and watch Cinderella before her bath. Like clock work she goes, so we of course take advantage of this opportunity. Well I guess the other night she was a little cold so when I came back into our room from turning off the bath, this is what I found (and yes that is a sheep skin rug!)
The last pic is of our not so big girl. She loves to play that she is the baby. Well the other morning I was in the kitchen making breakfast when I heard, "Mommy, mear." Translation, Mommy come here and see what I did. Yes she had climbed into her baby (that is doll baby) stroller and was totally cracking herself up!

Easter fun

Easter was a blast this year. Sofia really got into it, and is still saying that the, "Easter bunny coming!" She got candy, a tamborine and a Lion ball that were all a huge hit. We died Easter eggs that morning, which was messing but fun. PS To get die out of counter tops use Soft Scrub:) Then that afternoon we had an Easter egg hunt with Ida Jane, Harper, Jonah and Lydia. It was a lot of fun. Here are a few pics.

Priceless

My Little Parrot

Sofia is repeating everything! She is growing up so fast, and is putting herself to sleep, pooping in the potty, and just talking up a storm. Here is a little video of my talking and repeating Parrot.

Yes I know that she is dressed and I am still in my robe, but I think that is how I am suppose to be as a mom, right? I won't even go into what time of day it was:)
