Five months and "Sleeping," in her crib

So I uploaded these pictures and then forgot to post it. So this is from last month. But one update is that last night Emily officially slept the whole night!!!!!! I of course did not because I thought there was something wrong that she wasn't awake!
And yes that is Sofia with her own tools helping to put the crib at the right height:)

Bedtime Story

A couple of weeks ago a friend of ours gave us the book "Click, Clack, Moo." Sofia instantly LOVED it.
Then yesterday at lunch I realized just how much she loved it! Sometimes at lunch time we read a book, well the other day I told her that I was so hungry that I would feed Emily and I first and then we could read. Well she told me that it was no big deal because SHE could read it to me. Then she read it again at bed time to Daddy, and tonight she read it to Emily and I. I guess if you really want something you must do it yourself- or so my little independent thinker, must think:)

Character Hunt

So after moving and being super busy for several weeks we decided to reward ourselves by going to Disneyland for the day. Sofia told us that all she really wanted to do this trip was hunt for Characters, so that is exactly what we did. She got her very own autograph book (which she LOVED- and signed herself as well) and we went around and asked everyone to sign it. We had a blast. Here are some of the Characters we found:

The new casa

Before we were the owners I took this video. I was there to house hunt, and once I found this one and we put a contract on it we went by and I took a video. It was so good that I did because I used that video for so much until we moved in. By the way this is a shot of our "patio," off of our bedroom, that is not on the other video, and our garage is featured in the background. It has three stalls- we don't even know what to do with all of this room!!!!

Now we are all moved in and this is what it looks like:

Here are some pictures of some of the things that didn't quite make it into the video

Our garage! It is so nice to have a garage. It is detached, which was hard to get use to. But to have a cool car to put my babies in, is great. Also please notice my mini van (yes I am totally eating crow), I LOVE it, and so does Sofia. She calls it the bibbidi bobbidi boo car, because the doors are automatic doors.

My dining room, we don"t use it much, but I LOVE this room.

The backyard, which is super fun, and Sofia can play in because I can see her from the kitchen window.

Other side of the yard. And yes we have a hot tub, which is nice but a little scary with kids.

Post birthday

Since the move all of our stuff has been just here, there and everywhere. I didn't want time to pass for too long though without posting some pics from Sofia's birthday party. So even though it has been well over a month here are some pics from her very fun, Wizard of Oz birthday party

There's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place like home.

Wow check out all of that sugar on the table!!!! Can you tell I LOVE cake, and had way too much fun with this theme! I loved the cupcake toppers- they were ruby slippers and rings with all of the characters on them. Sorry again to my friends for sugaring up your kids, and then sending them home with a giant lollipop:)

I love you Glinda....or Noelle....or whoever you are!

Wack that rainbow!

The balloon rainbow that daddy made

The birthday party. Thank you again to all of you who made this day so special for my little Dorothy. We miss you all!!!!
