Mary Katherine Gallagher

Sofia has been little Miss Independent from the moment she was born. She loves to do everything on her own and is so proud of herself when she does. Lately she has wanted to dress herself, which makes the morning a lot nicer that I only have to dress one child. So a couple of months ago I started filling her draw every week with outfits that were suitable to wear. If it were up to her she would just go to her play clothes box and wear a princess gown everyday. Well she doesn't always pair the right shirt with the right pants, and so on. Well today this is what her outfit was:

She told me she was very fancy. I was just waiting for her to smell her armpits and then jump through a pile of desks.

My best friend

My husband is the most amazing man I have ever met! He is not only very handsome, charming, witty and funny, but kind, compassionate, and a Godly man. Sometimes I am amazed that he chose me to be his wife. He is a good listener, and always gives the best advice. He makes me laugh so hard that I literally could pee my pants. He proof reads almost everything I write (so if there is mistakes in this post, it's because he didn't proof read, and I am the world's worst speller!). He keeps me honest, and encourages me. He is a great dad, and loves our girls. He definitely completes me. I love him so much, and he is my best friend. Chad I love you with all my heart, I have since the day I met you (it helped that he had no shirt on!). I have loved every moment that we have spent together, the good the bad and the ugly. I can't wait to spend more with you. Thank you for loving me, and being the man that you are.

Terror of the kitchen

My friend Christine lent me a walking exosausor. Emily loves it, she in now semi-mobile and can swipe stuff off of the refrigerator, dishwasher, cabinets, and yell about it the whole time. Here is a hilarious video of her in action. She has gotten quite fast, and has gotten a hold of some funny things. In this video she had gotten a hold of a cup from Sofia's play kitchen while nobody was watching and started screaming into it. It scared me so much, I thought a man had broken into the house, and Chad thought she was throwing up. We laughed so hard we cried!

Spaghetti

Emily loves anything that is grains. She will eat cheerios, bread, and now we found out she LOVES pasta! So far she loves fruits, veggies, and now bread- much different from Sofia our little carnivore.

Emily and her baby

We have recently started to see Emily's personality and it is so fun! She is really very funny, strong willed, a little stubborn, and very very sweet- from what we can tell so far. One thing that she really loves is this baby doll. She will hold it and hug it. She even pats it's back, it really is very funny. Here is a video of her trying to feed it. I didn't get the camera in enough time to really show you the whole thing, but she was definitely trying to feed it. She also loves to shake her baby- we will have to work on that:)
Emily also has a friend who is only a month older than her, Charlotte. She LOVES Charlotte. She loves her so much that she tried to eat her- this made Charlotte cry:( Charlotte is the only person who Emily will share this baby with though, very funny and sweet. We love our Emmy Lou!
